Incredibly accommodating staff who went above and beyond.

The noise from the courtyard could be disruptive at night.

perfectly situated near key attractions and charming streets

I loved how I could walk to Arundel Castle in just over 10 minutes and enjoy a delightful drink at The Norfolk Tap, which was just a few steps away, making my city strolls incredibly easy and enjoyable. the quirky furnishings and character of the building added to my unique experience as a solo traveler.

The recently refurbished room was spacious and beautifully furnished. The large bath with integral shower provided comfort and ease of use, making for a pleasant stay.

We did not get to experience the dining options.

    welcoming staff

Couple looking for charm and comfort

The staff were incredibly welcoming, they even left a bottle of Prosecco in my room with a lovely birthday card, just like I asked. And let me tell you, the breakfast was something else, self-serve with a hearty full English that really hit the spot after a long night.

Wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but considering the experience, I guess it was all right.

    cozy room
    helpful staff
    free wi-fi
    noise issues
    bad odor

I had such a pleasant stay at the Norfolk Arms. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for unwinding after exploring Arundel. My room was cozy with lovely decor, and the free Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast exceeded my expectations, offering a variety of delicious options. I especially enjoyed the fresh pastries and the full English breakfast. Staff were incredibly helpful throughout my stay, making me feel welcome. I did experience issues with noise at night, particularly from the courtyard. It disrupted my sleep at times. there was a lingering odor in some common areas, which made the first impression less pleasant. a great place with a charming vibe, but noise control could be improved.

    friendly staff
    cozy bar
    restless sleep

We had a fantastic time with friends exploring the historic sites nearby and enjoying the lovely vegetarian roast in the cozy bar. The staff were super friendly and the room was comfy with nice touches like books. Just a heads-up, breakfast isn't included, so plan for that!

One downside was the fire alarm going off late at night. It was annoying and made for a restless sleep during our stay.

The character of the building is a standout, revealing its history as an old coaching inn. The on-site bar offers a vivid, local atmosphere, though it could do with more comfortable seating options.

My room overlooked a less-than-pleasing view of the drab rooftop. not exactly postcard material. The noise from a nearby drinking area made sleep elusive, especially on weekends when the volume cranked up. Bathroom fittings in my room were somewhat outdated, which detracted from an otherwise decent stay.
